Super Guard HI- GLOSS Spec is a paint with high washability, waterproofing, anti-mildew, self-cleaning mechanism for smooth surface, keeping color durable. Optimal protection regardless of the weather. Paint comes in a wide range of colors with a collection of thousands of colors suitable for exterior wall surfaces. Easy to use, with high adhesion, durability and gloss.

SURFACE PREPARATION

New surface:

• Let the concrete, cement plaster and mortar must be cured at least 28 days in ambient condition (average temperature is 25°C -30°C, relative humidity <75%), the surface moisture is not exceed 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment). pH value is about 6-9.
• Remove all dust, grease, wax, laitance, chalking and others contamination from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleanness.
• Apply 2 coats KOWAY WALL MASTIC EXTERIOR for smooth surface.

Old surface:

• Remove all dust, fungus, algae, loose old paint or others contamination from the surface by specialized machine as: grinding, sanding, vacuum cleaner, high pressure water jet and proper cleanness.
• Then, treat the areas attacked by fungus, algae with proper chemicals. Wash the surface if required, let it fully dry, the substrate moisture must be lower than 16% (specialized measuring testing equipment).
• Repair the damaged area. Cracks bigger than 0.1mm must be fixed and make smooth by KOWAY WALL MASTIC EXTERIOR.
• Apply 1 coat of proper alkali sealer to improve adhesion for paint film.

APPLICATION METHOD

• Application tools: Brush, roller, conventional spray
• Film thickness: Guiding data for airless spray

  • Pressure at nozzle: 140 – 190 Kg/cm2 (2.000 2.600 Psi)
  • Dry film thickness: Min: 30μm, Standard: 35μm, Max: 40μm
  • Wet film thickness: Min: 77μm, Standard: 90μm, Max: 103μm
  • Film thickness will vary and is calculated as average
• Dilution: The paint is ready to use after proper stirring until homogeneous. If thinning is required, clean water may be added up to a maximum of 5%.

• Store in a dry, cool, good ventilation area, shaded area. Keep out of reach of children. Storage temperature is about 25°C – 35°C.
• Ensure that the right primer is used. Should use putty and let it thoroughly cure before painting.
• Stir well before use and once opened, entire contents should be used.
• Apply when temperature is from 10°C to 35°C and relative humidity <75%. The surface temperature must be 3°C higher than the dew point.

• Please do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.
• Keep away from heat, sparks, open flame, and hot surfaces. No smoking.
• Wear protective gloves, respirators, eye protection, and protective clothing.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or ingestion. Go right to the nearest health center for help in case of ingesting paint or paint contacts with your eyes.
• Avoid release to the environment. Treat discarded paint according to environmental law.
