SURESEAL PC80 CLEAR

PC80 CLEAR by ANT PC is a two-component, low-viscosity epoxy primer-sealer with excellent penetrating properties even into damp concrete.

Purpose of use: PC80 CLEAR is recommended as a primer-sealer for concrete surfaces prior to the application of surfacers, membranes, mortar, or toppings. PC80 CLEAR can also be used as a surface hardener for concrete floors in workshops, garages, mechanical rooms, and warehouses to prevent dusting.

Not recommended for: Exposure to strong acids and alkalis. Not suitable for immersion services.

• Top coating time: Minimum: 2 hours. Maximum: 24h hours.

TYPICAL CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Surface Preparation:

The surface to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased to ensure that oil, grease and other surface contaminants are removed. Fins and protrusions must be removed by grinding or sanding. New concrete shall be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before application of Sureseal PS38. To achieve maximum adhesion, concrete surface shall be abrasive blasted prior to coating.

Mixing:

Stir well Part A and Part B separately then mix and continue to till homogeneous. PC80 CLEARis designed to have very low viscosity to ensure deep penetration. No thinning is required during application.

Application:

Can be applied by roller, brush, conventional or airless spray equipment. Make sure sufficient materials is applied evenly over the entire surface to ensure maximum penetration. For application in enclosed areas, provide sufficient ventilation to ensure proper drying of the applied materials.

Curing:

The coated surface can be opened to foot traffic 24 hours after application. With good ventilation, topcoats can be applied after 2 to 3 hours.

Cleaning:

All application tools must be cleaned using ANT PC Thinner No. 72 immediately after use.
